Lewis joined the Routes family in 2022, combining a growing passion for marketing with his personal connection to photography and travel in Latin America. Having already backpacked through much of North, Central, and South America, he brought a traveller’s perspective into his professional role.
Since joining, he’s returned to the continent to explore Costa Rica, Patagonia and the Pantanal, and has also ventured further south to Antarctica and South Georgia with Cruise Routes, where he was official ship photographer. These experiences – from rainforest trails to remote polar shores – have shaped both his creative work and his understanding of what makes a journey truly memorable.
His role centres on photography, content creation, and social media, helping to bring Cruise Routes’ destinations to life across different platforms. His firsthand knowledge, from jungle treks to polar voyages, adds a sense of authenticity to every campaign. For Lewis, it’s these lived experiences – captured both professionally and personally – that allow travellers to connect more meaningfully with a destination.
Lewis is hoping to make it seven out of seven continent visits soon when he visits Asia.
